Background:
There are only TWO 1967 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Prototipo (prototype model with the 4 headlights) ever built by Autodelta for Alfa Romeo. Both are red cars. The first Prototipo was featured in the Italian movie un Belissimo Novembre in 1969. This car resides in a private museum in Japan and the second Prototype resides at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy. The two original 4 headlights Prototipos 33 Stradales are museum cars that will never come up for sale. Therefore in our opinion much more desirable.

Eleven (11) two headlight PRODUCTION versions of the 33 Stradales were ever manufactured as production cars for the public by Carrozzeria Marazzi between 1968 and 1969.

The production cars are distinguished by their two headlight design and other small body differences, including the two extra side vents on the front clamshell, a one piece rear side vents without the divider from the prototype cars, a more practical street dash design with a speedometer and simplified door opening mechanism. Those eight cars very rarely change hands among collectors and the last recorded sales of were sold in excess of $30 Million Dollars.
