Alfa Romeo GTV Spider 916 from 1995, ASI certified with new engine.

Very first series of one of the most popular models in the world of Youngtimers throughout Europe, destined for a certain increase in value within a couple of years. 

In 2022 the 2.0 Twin Spark engine, which guarantees excellent performance and pure fun, was completely overhauled at FIGLIOLIA MOTORS of Baronissi (SA), from the clutch to the replacement of the bands, engine gaskets, to the grinding of cylinders and pistons including adjustment of timing.

Other work carried out: overhaul of the electrical system, new battery, replacement of tyres (they have travelled less than 1,000 km), grinding of alloy wheels, balancing and convergence, distribution, overhaul of front suspension arms and steering box. 

The engine is still running in, having travelled just over 1,000 km since rectification, and under warranty at the previously mentioned workshop.
 
In terms of bodywork, the car is healthy and in good general condition, with only some parking dents on the side doors (the right door has a slightly more evident dent), and some slight paint stripping on the tailgate, with details clearly visible in the photos.

The vehicle has the original Alfa Romeo interior of the time, with some small signs of age. The soft top is also in fair condition, the rear plastic has just been replaced and there are no leaks.

The car has been owned by myself since 2020, the last two owners were police officers; it has been rarely used since 2006, which is why it only covered 118,000 km.

The car was also used in the filming of the Netflix series in production with the provisional title "The Liar's Life of Adults", with world-famous actress Valeria Golino among the main characters.   

Mechanics in good order, it could be made perfect with the replacement of the silent blocks, in order to remove those minor age-related noises which may be heard by the most attentive ears, however, these are small details that for a car of this age are more than physiological, if you imagine daily use doing justice to this powerful 2.0 convertible.

The ASI registration with corresponding 50% stamp reduction and the LPG system (with built-in adapter to facilitate its use) considerably reduce insurance and maintenance costs.

As an option, the vehicle is equipped with a battery switch as an anti-theft device.
