A splendidly Alfa Romeo Spider 2000, supplied by Klein Foreman Motors to its first owner in Woodland Hills, California in 1976. This ’74 Spider waited some 2 years in the showroom for its new owner. The original price paid was $ 7,724.85 and stayed in the same ownership for 36 years until he sold it to his son on the 2nd June 2012. Amazingly the car remained in the same family all these years. The Spider is completely original, is unrestored and has a superbly sound, rust-free body. The original underbody has been kept sound and fully rust-free, thanks to the dry Californian climate. The well-kept engine bay is still fully original. In the past the car had a re-spray, new seats and a new soft-top. The most remarkable feature is the complete record kept from day one onwards. Uniquely a dairy was kept of every trip, all maintenance and mileage. Of course, next to this meticulous record, all the service books, owners manual, owners card, reserve keys are present as well as the original sales invoice, detailing the dealer installed accessories. The car has the original ‘Giallo Pagoda 119’ finish with a black vinyl interior trim. Because of the fact that every invoice has been kept, we can confirm that this excellently maintained car has only clocked up 50,639 miles. We have never seen such a perfectly documented car and that is quite a feat!
