Just a decade after the end of the war, Alfa Romeo decided to make something that would revive the glories of pre-war production, producing speedy and manageable cars. It was in this climate that the Giulietta was designed in two versions, sedan and coupe. Due to some problems at the factory, the car manufacturer was forced to produce only the coupe model, called Sprint. Thus, the first model that bears the name Giulietta was born.

In 1957, at the Monza race track, the Giulietta TI (International Tourism) was presented, born to race and offer strong emotions. In autumn 1961, the Giulietta was updated. Both the Normale and the TI had revised engines and new exhaust systems. The engine designed by Busso presented double body carburettor, with aluminium monobloc head and delivered 74 hp, allowing the car to reach a top speed of about 155 km/h. The aesthetic updates concerned the front part with the new side grilles integrated with the central shield, and bigger rear lights. Inside, the TI had split seats (and no longer the only seat) at the front, with storage nets on the backrests. The real pride and joy of this car were the suspension and brakes that provided a solid base to turn this model into a dreaded opponent in track and rally racing.

Its unmistakable elegant line and the light blue shade of this beautiful car conquer at first glance. The grey interior is absolutely original and preserved as well as the car radio and its rubber mats. The care and passion that have been lavished in preserving it make this car a unique and wonderful model. Third series of 1965 with a 1,300 km, 74 hp engine that has covered only 49,241 km in 55 years, it underwent a major restoration in 1992 (made by Antonietti, historic Alfa Romeo workshop in Fabriano, which continues to follow the car to this day) which involved the bodywork, all the mechanics, suspension, brakes, electrical system, and the engine in every aspect always using only original Alfa Romeo spare parts. In June 2020, the current owner (the son of a great collector and Alfa Romeo enthusiast) asked Antonietti workshop to perform a general check of the car. They replaced the ordinary components such as the battery, oil, etc. ... and carried out a total overhaul of the entire braking system, (even the brake rubbers) all accompanied by an exhaustive invoice. The car has had only 3 owners and is regularly registered with the ASI register and also has the FIVA documents.
