Designed in 1957 to meet the needs of a more sporting clientele, looking for a higher performing version of the Giulietta suited for competitions.
The result was a vehicle improved in many respects compared to the “normal” Sprint, with cutting edge aerodynamics which allowed the 1.3 l engine to propel it to a top speed of 200 km/h (125 mph).
Little more than 1300 of the Giulietta SS were produced.
Subsequently the Giulia Sprint Speciale 1.6 l was marketed!
