According to Alfa Romeo Automobilisimo Storico, the chassis number AR1493 00881 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, manufactured on the 24th September 1955 and sold on the 4th October 1955 in Firenze,
Italy. Retaining all original mechanical parts this is a matching number car.

We are able to arrange or assist with worldwide shipping for potential acquirers of this motor car who do not reside in the UK.

This beautiful Series 1 Giulietta Sprint is ASI verified and has a current FIVA passport for historic events such as the Mille Miglia, GP Nuvolari etc

This Giulietta has traceable ownership history right back to 1955. Having had seven owners in total it remained in Italy until 2003. It has been carefully maintained by its previous owners, never requiring major restoration it appears to retain its original floors and structure underneath - it even retains it's original tool kit and tool roll!

It was used as a show car for the Giulietta 50th anniversary celebrations in Milano in 2005 being displayed at the Duomo Piazza during the celebrations. In fact, this is where the last collector owner started a dialogue with the then keeper of this Giulietta. He was known to him and these conversations after some time led to him owning the car. He subsequently had a full engine rebuild and balance carried out and a beautiful and correct interior re trim in 2015.

Since purchasing this Giulietta, Southwood have carried out a comprehensive, careful and detailed preparation with special attention taken as to its drivability, reliability and originality. These works involved fitment of a new wiring throughout, rebuild of the mechanical fuel pump, water pump and Solex carburettor, balancing of the prop shaft, engine out engine bay repaint and detail, sourcing and fitment of an original and correct FISPA air box and numerous other items too. As a result, this is one of the nicest driving Giuliettas we have had the pleasure of owning, it drives without issue, is smooth and comfortable and pulls wonderfully defying its small cubic capacity as these beautiful cars do.

Presented today in wonderful condition, this is Giulietta wants for nothing and would be widely welcome in many historic events, enabling the new owner to enjoy her fully.
