While the Giulia’s unveil hailed Alfa Romeo’s return to stylish saloon car production, machines from the marque bearing the Quadrifoglio logo signify the very best from the Italian company. The four leaf clover-badged Giulia was shown for the first time at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show, intended to take on German rivals such as the Mercedes-AMG C63 and BMW M3.

To mark Alfa Romeo’s long-awaited return to Formula 1 in 2019, the marque revealed an ‘Alfa Romeo Racing’ limited edition version of its Giulia Quadrifoglio at that year’s Geneva International Motor Show. The car wore a livery mirroring the Trofeo White and Competizione Red two-tone design of the racing team’s C38 entrant on the 2019 F1 grid, and featured carbon fibre bodywork with an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system and carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Inside, the car features Sparco race seats and an Alcantara and leather-trimmed steering wheel, in addition to a premium Harman Kardon sound system. Compared to the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio, the limited edition was 28 kilograms lighter, while performance tweaks afforded the car a power output of 513 horsepower.

With its limited production, exceptional specification, and low mileage, this Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio ‘Alfa Romeo Racing Edition’ is sure to appeal to marque enthusiasts. The Giulia's accompanying service book confirms the car was serviced last year by Schusterschitz GmbH, at which point its odometer read 4,869 kilometres. At the time of cataloguing the odometer read 5,990 kilometres.
