What a picture huh? They are simply fantastic cars. The Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider is an icon in the history of the brand. The recipe is also so deliciously simple, but no less effective. Good examples are now becoming rare, so the age-old saying remains true: if you stay ordinary long enough, you will automatically become special. This example has already been fully restored and is still in excellent condition.

The body is very neat. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. The convertible top is in good condition and fits neatly everywhere. The paint of the car only has some very light traces of use, but in general it looks very neat. The steel wheels are fitted with chrome-plated hubcaps and good tires in the correct sizes. The lighting is also neatly arranged and the covers on the headlights, so characteristic of this model, are also present.

The interior looks lovely. The carpets are in good condition as is the leather on the seats. The leather has some light patina, but is still wonderfully supple. The steel dashboard was also repainted during the restoration and still looks beautiful. The instruments and controls are all in good condition and function as they should. A Duetto is of course not complete without a wooden shift knob and wooden steering wheel, which are not missing in this case.

The technology is always well maintained. The Alfa Romeo four-cylinder twin cam is and remains a wonderful chunk of character and runs like the proverbial sewing machine. In this case, the engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission that shifts wonderfully precisely. The engine hangs well on the gas and runs excellent through the revs. The Alfa Romeo Duetto dates back to the time when an Alfa Spider only weighs around 1,000 kilos, which is noticeable while driving. The car has a wonderfully light-hearted character that is hard to find in a modern car these days. The engine compartment looks neatly cared for and the brakes and undercarriage are also in very good condition.

In short, a neatly maintained Alfa Romeo Duetto that will provide you with unforgettable open driving pleasure for years to come. Summer time!
