The previous owner of this red Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV Bertone Savali belonged to that class of person. This Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV is not the same as when it left the factory in 1973. It has been owned by one person for the last 25 years who transformed this nice Tipo 105.21 into a unequaled driving car. This car was modified by the famous Alfa tuner: Savali. The increased speed was achieved by using high compression pistons, specialised crankshafts and two twin Webers. The engine is particularly powerful and sounds fantastic through its sports exhaust. To transfer all this extra power to the tarmac a number of modifications were introduced. It has a slip differential, sports suspension, rear red Koni’s and front Bilstein shocks. Furthermore the car has been adorned with GTA wheels, a rear seat cover, Recaro seats (the originals are present), a wooden Nardi steering wheel and a new grill. Finally the brakes were upgraded using ventilated discs and larger brake calipers from an Alfa Romeo Montreal. Over and above the previous upgrades, the car has been meticulously maintained over the years. The fine bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. The characteristic red Alfa Romeo paintwork is, other than a few minor blemishes in very good condition. The interior is also in very good shape. The carpets are very neat, the Recaro seat upholstery is in peak condition and the rear seat cover is wonderful. Due to good servicing and maintenance the engine runs a treat. The manual transmission is precise and underneath the car has also been properly maintained over the years. Thanks to due diligence to maintenance the driving character of this Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV Savali is exactly as it should be. All maintenance and servicing has been documented with invoices and mails, the original owner’s manual, service book and workshop manual are also included. This is a car for the Sunday afternoon trips out or taking to the track to sharpen up your track times. This Alfa Romeo can do it all. The difficult and especially expensive work has already been done, leaving you just to step in and enjoy the ride!
