Showed for the first time the 2nd of October in 1950, the 1900 is the union of the monocoque chassis and the DOHC Engine (Double OverHead Camshaft), a technical solution that characterized the biggest pre-war Alfa Romeo. Later in time, there were a lot of customization made from the most famous choachmen in Italy, most of that coupé or open made for very demanding persons, those were added to the total of 17000 sedan made by Alfa Romeo, a very big number for the brand in Milan.
Between 1955 and 1959 a 2-doors model was made by Carrozzeria Boano, wellknew as "Primavera" (Spring in English), in 2 series those differs for the colours, for a total amount of 300 cars made until the 1957.
