Beschreibung

Alfa Romeo introduced the new 1750 range in 1967. These cars had the improved 1779 cc engine, producing 120 bhp. The 1750 GT Veloce (also known as 1750 GTV) replaced the Giulia Sprint GT Veloce, and introduced many updates and modifications. The car had only slightly improved performance compared to its predecessor, but on the road it was much more flexible to drive and it was easier to maintain higher average speeds due to the higher torque figure. Handling and braking were improved too. From the outside, the 1750 was instantly recognisable by the twin headlight arrangment, and different front and rear bumpers. Inside, the dashboard was restyled, with a large speedometer and tachometer fitted in twin binnacles. It was a very successful car for Alfa Romeo, with a total of 44.269 GTV's built.

This lovely example is still in very original condition. It has been repainted once in its original colour Grigio Medio Metallizzato, but the beautiful interior is still as it left the factory in 1970. The engine runs great with good oil pressure and a nice sound, and the gearbox is easy to operate. This GT Veloce drives exactly as it was intended in the seventies, without any modifications or improvements.

Being one of the most desireable models of the Junior Bertone range, this 1750 GT Veloce is becoming increasingly popular among classic car enthusiasts. This is an Alfa Romeo in its purest form, with attractive styling and offering cheer driving pleasure. Finding such a car in this fine original condition is rare, so if you fancy a GTV then this is probably the one !
