- Good quality workmanship
- A rare model
- Imposing design
- No reserve
This commercial tourer Buire has an interesting body style and the build quality is above average, which was a feature of this brand from the city of Lyon. This quality can also be found in the mechanicals, with an overhead valve engine at a time when side-valves were the norm for the more popular cars. The design of the engine was fairly elegant and the car features brakes on the front wheels. The La Buires were also into racing in the 1920s.
The body has two rear side doors plus a rear access and is not complete. Gaps include the front seats, part of the mechanicals (spark plugs, magneto...), and a portion of the dashboard. The vehicle stands on steel disc rims and has a full windshield in two parts. A high and wide grille gives this roadster an imposing look. This is a most unusual model, which deserves the attention of a passionate enthusiast.
