French registration

- Rare model
- In beautiful condition
- Single cylinder De Dion
- No reserve

The history of this marque is unclear. Knowing that at the beginning of the century, nearly 1,300 manufacturers existed in France, some of which made just one model, it is not surprising that some of them have escaped the watchful eye of historians, and this is one of them. This car appeared in a 1999 auction at Fontenay-le-Comte. At that time, it was in an original condition and presented as having belonged to the same family since 1921. Powered by a single-cylinder De Dion engine, which was quite popular then, the engine is mated to a three-speed transmission. The car is remarkably well made. The frame construction suggests that it predates 1905, the body, is probably later, around 1908. It seems that the car was restored a few years ago, but no invoices have been provided to support this. Today this Croizemarie is in a beautiful condition and the car works, even if it has not been driven for many years.
This original vehicle is accompanied by four photographs from 2004 showing the car in an un-restored condition and two articles from 1999 about the auction. Attractive with its light body, it should be eligible for the London-Brighton Rally.
