Beschreibung

The RZV500R was the flagship of Yamaha's 2-stroke models and is highly acclaimed. This motorcycle was a replica of the YZR500 (0W70) WGP bike from 1983, Yamaha developed both models in the same year, and it was released in April 1984. Based on the RD500LC, the RZV500R was detuned and sold for the Japanese market. The RD500LC was a work of art developed with the prestige of "the 2-stroke Yamaha" in mind. It is a legendary model that can be called the pinnacle of Yamaha's 2-stroke motorcycle history. Fewer than 4,000 units were sold in Japan, making it a highly valuable machine due to its rarity. Because the 2-stroke models have disappeared from the manufacturer's catalogue, they are selling for high prices in the used market.

The odometer reads 15,637 km, and according to the owner, it is a fully original vehicle that had been carefully stored in a warehouse. There is a scratch on the top of the tank however there are no other major scratches, including the lights, and it’s in beautiful condition. The seat is also in excellent original condition. The engine and exhaust parts are also in very clean condition, making it hard to believe that this motorcycle is over 35 years old.
