Charles Terrot and Wilhelm Stücklen founded their mechanical engineering company in 1862 in Cannstatt, Germany. After a few years, Terrot moved production to Dijon, France. In 1902, the first motorbike came out of the transalpine factory. Right from the start, Terrot motorbikes gained an excellent reputation for reliability and performance. The Type A model featured a single-cylinder, horizontal 2-stroke engine, 2-speed gearbox with belt final drive and leaf spring front suspension. A rare opportunity to buy a motorbike with a century of history. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
