The Junior Sportster motorcycle was a new introduction for 1959 and made use of the existing twin-carburettor engine, which was equipped with plated alloy cylinders. It could be ordered with a race kit (larger carburettors, 11.5:1 compression ratio, and a competition exhaust) which raised the top speed from in excess of 70 to more than 80mph. Offered with ASI papers, which do not list frame or engine number.
