The 150 Gran Lusso was presented in 1963 and immediately appealed to a demanding clientele. Derived from the VBB1 model, the GL is fitted with a Dellorto SI20/17D carburettor and while maintaining the same bore and stroke values as the 150, it was equipped with a convex piston and a high turbulence head, which improved performance. The G.L. was a revolution for the Vespa, as it was the first to have a decidedly more angular and streamlined line than all previous models. The worldliness and refinement of details made it a classy choice.
This 1966 model has been restored in recent years and restored to complete originality. Rarely used for short journeys, it is in excellent mechanical condition and ready for use.
