Ossa est un célèbre constructeur de motos espagnol, qui avait commencé son activité dans les années 1920 en fabriquant des projecteurs de cinéma. Impliquée dès le début des années 1960 dans toutes les disciplines moto, la firme a véritablement été traumatisée par le décès de son champion Santiago Herrero et ne s’est ensuite plus consacrée qu’au tout-terrain, notamment au trial, avec son pilote Mick Andrews, champion du monde de la discipline en 1971 et 1972. Ossa s’est aussi fait un nom en motocross et en enduro, principalement en petites et moyennes cylindrées : 125, 175 et 250 cm³. Avec la fin du franquisme et l’ouverture du marché espagnol, l’usine décline, et son association avec Bultaco n’y peut rien, la marque s’arrête en 1982, avant de renaître de ses cendres en 2010.
Le modèle enduro 250 de la collection de Monsieur B. se présente dans un beau jus d’origine, et en bon état de fonctionnement. Une moto idéale pour une maison de campagne, ou pour rouler en enduro vintage.

Ossa is a famous Spanish motorbike manufacturer, which started its activity in the 1920s by manufacturing cinema projectors. Involved in all motorbike disciplines since the early 1960s, the company was really traumatised by the death of its champion Santiago Herrero and then only devoted itself to off-road, especially trials, with its rider Mick Andrews, world champion of the discipline in 1971 and 1972. Ossa also made a name for itself in motocross and enduro, mainly in small and medium-sized bikes: 125, 175 and 250 cc. With the end of Franco's regime and the opening of the Spanish market, the factory declined, and its association with Bultaco could do nothing about it, the brand stopped in 1982, before rising from its ashes in 2010.
The 250 enduro model in Mr B's collection is presented in a beautiful original condition, and in good working order. An ideal bike for a country house, or for riding vintage enduro.
