Founded in 1890, NSU began its journey by producing knitting machines and bicycles before building its image with high-performance racing motorcycles. During the WW2 however, all production resources were devoted to military models. With its 250cc four-stroke single cylinder engine developing 10.5hp, the NSU OSL 251 will build itself a solid reputation. It has a top speed of 95 km/h and a distance range of 300km, which made it perfect as a liaison motorcycle. The military version differed from the civilian one, it had a larger fuel tank with a wider filling hole, among other finishing details. This specific example was restored probably around the early 2000s. It has been equipped with care and attention to detail.
