This H1C two-stroke triple version followed on from the preceding H1A and was marketed in the US only from 1971 onwards. The bike featured stylistic modifications such as new graphics and colours designed for the larger-engined model. It was notable for its CDI ignition and front drum brake, and like its predecessor it offered superior power and acceleration in comparison to the standards of the time.
