"The Kawasaki AR 50 was a popular 49cc air cooled two stroke moped. Produced between 1981 and 1994 this 5 speed moped was an ideal entry level bike and is quoted as being the first bike that many current riders enjoyed.
This AR 50 was found in a garden shed where it had languished since 1991.The vendor set about completing a full restoration which included a shot blasting and respraying of the frame leaving the original chassis sticker on. The reassembly used the original panels, fuel tank and the original nuts and bolts which had also been shot blasted. The forks were hard chromed by a specialist and fitted with new seals and dust covers, the wheels were diamond cut, powder coated and repainted, the colour being matched for originality. New tyres, inner tubes, brake discs and pads have been fitted as well as a new carburettor. In short, this stunning AR 50 is probably as good as the day it left the factory and must represent one of the lowest mileage examples in todays market place."
