The first scooter projects to be produced in Innocenti’s Lombardy factory date back to 1945, but the occupation by the allied troops delayed the production programme until the autumn of 1947, when the A model made its debut with a 3-speed gearbox controlled by a pedal, a pressed sheet metal and tubular frame and 7” wheels. This model is highly sought-after as it only remained in production for one year and the numbers produced were much smaller than later versions. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
