In the French magazine Moto Revue dated November 9, 1968, there was a news announcing the imminent arrival of a large displacement Honda. A four-cylinder, perhaps? The suspense remained for another week before the photos of the fabulous CB750 surfaced. At that time, motorcyclists were already used to the Japanese machines, which had been shaking up the market for a few years already. The Honda CB750 featured a single-overhead camshaft four-cylinder engine, a 5-speed gearbox, double cradle frame, four megaphone exhausts, hydraulic disc brakes and an electric starter.
The motorcycle on offer is a rare Honda CB 750 K0, the version most coveted by collectors, which is characterized by many specific features, both aesthetic and mechanical. You can recognize it at first glance by its "Candy Blue Green" color, its painted headlamp base, its prominent and openwork side covers, its saddle which ends in a small hump, its metal grey front brake caliper, etc. Coming from the USA, this K0 "Die Cast" version (with cast engine cases compared to the very first "Sand Cast" versions), which displays only 647 miles on the odometer, has been repainted and has four new exhausts.
Marketed over eight years, the CB 750 is the motorcycle of the 20th century. More than fifty years after its launch, this Honda CB750 K0 is a must in any collection.
