Unique Gilera Nuovo Bialbero 500 ‘Saturno’. This model arrived on the market in the early 90’s and only briefly remained in production. This one cylinder DOHC 4-valve bike is rank and seriously fast. It easily reached 170 km/hr in 6th gear. Unfortunately the high purchase cost stymied production, with the effect that only a few were ever built. The unique 500cc one cylinder Gilera was fitted with high-quality gear such as Brembo brakes, 2 in 1 LaFranconi exhaust, cast Marvic wheels, Nippondenso CDI ignition and a 40mm Dell’ Orto carburettor. This explained the fact that this bike was 25% more expensive than the 90’s CBR600. This example has only travelled 80 km and remains in a superb original condition. In short a unique bike with an exceptionally low mileage.
