If there is a standard bearer of the German motorcycle brand BMW, it is certainly its four-stroke twin-cylinder boxer engine. For decades and still today, BMW has mastered this engine architecture better than anyone else, producing a unique sound and providing a real pleasure to ride. The BMW R80 RT with its 797 cc 50 hp engine was produced from 1982 to 1995. It has a transmission by shaft and not by chain, another technical feature mastered by the brand that is rarely found in other manufacturers. This bike will find its public since it will be sold to 29 384 specimens. The bike we offer for sale is a modified version in the style of a "Café Racer". It is in a very good mechanical and aesthetic condition (as shown in the pictures) with a paint job in the iconic colors of the Gulf brand. Its custom exhaust lines and its orange repainted frame (showing slight rubbing marks) give it an aggressive look in this configuration without fairings.
