The AJS models 18 and 18S, available from 1945, were based on a 1930s design and were nearly identical with the Matchless G80. From 1952 the bikes received a spring rear suspension and were then continued without major changes until 1966. The bike offered with its 500cc single pot was imported into Switzerland many years ago and since 2019 has been with the owner who, for age reasons, has now decided to sell the bike. Obviously restored some time ago, the beautiful AJS is in good overall condition and will be handed over to a new real biker with the latest veteran MOT from April 2019
