One of only 63 examples built, the LWB Volante is a spacious tourer, genuinely comfortable for a family of four to travel long distances, with no lack of performance from the superlative 32-valve 5.3-litre V8 engine. Plus, to make the journey even easier, there’s the 4-speed automatic transmission. All that, and the option of top-down motoring when the weather permits. The model is also an important – and emotional – milestone in the history of Aston Martin, as these were the final hand-built cars to be produced at Aston’s now closed Newport Pagnell factory.
