| Die Modelle der WL Baureihe mit 750 ccm Hubraum wurden 1937 eingeführt. Die damals in den USA üblichen Seitenventilmotoren galten von Beginn an als sehr robust und äußerst zuverlässig. Es war das erfolgreichste Harley-Davidson Modell. Die Produktion lief bis 1952, der Motor wurde sogar bis 1973 in den drei-rädrigen Servi-Cars verbaut. Während dieser Zeit retteten die WL-Modelle die Firma durch die Zeit der großen Depression und sicherten ein Überleben auch nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, durch die Lieferung von Militärmodellen in alle Welt. 2-Zylinder V-Motor mit seitlichen Ein- und Auslassventilen. Das hier angebotene Motorrad wurde 1942 an seinen Erstbesitzer ausgeliefert. Vor rund 10 Jahren wurde die herrliche Maschine von einer HD-Fachwerkstatt von Grund auf restauriert. Seitdem wird sie regelmäßig in einer Fachwerkstatt betreut. Eingesetzt wird sie bei historischen Rennveranstaltungen, zuletzt bei der "Kampenwand Historic" im Herbst 2010. Der Motor wurde optimiert, so dass die Leistung bei knapp 30 PS liegt. Die Vorderradbremse wurde mit eigens angefertigten, aufgeschrumpften Alukühlringen verbessert.Die Gabel wurde durch den Einbau eines Öldruckstoßdämpfers aus dem Rennsport verbessert, sodass jetzt eine Einstellung der Zugstufe möglich ist. 18-Zollfelgen mit Edelstahlspeichen und authentischer Bereifung in 4x18 vorn und 4,5x18 hinten; Ein besonderes Schmuckstück ist der sehr seltene originale Steward Warner Tacho, der behutsam restauriert wurde.
