| Year : 2002 Make : Rolls-Royce Model : Corniche Coachbuilder : Mulliner/Park Ward Body Type : Convertible Colour : Iridium Green Trim : Barley Leather Piped Green History : The new millennium saw Rolls-Royce resurrect the name Corniche following the cessation of production of the series IV model in 1995. The all new Series V model was not dissimilar to the Bentley Azure when considering dimensions and styling, but was fitted with a 6.75 litre V8 engine which was turbo charged, resulting in tremendous on road performance. The powers that be at Crewe decided to bypass fitting the new V12 engine in favour of the more familiar V8 engine which had proven its worth over several decades of development. Production lasted just two years and a little more than 300 cars were produced in typical Rolls-Royce fashion at the factory in Crewe, with great care taken in finishing each car to the new owner’s specification. This particular example left the factory finished in Iridium green, with a dark green hood, barley leather interior piped spruce green, spruce top roll, conifer wilton carpets, conifer lambs wool rugs and burr walnut woodwork. It also came with some special optional extras including a pair of matching Rolls-Royce umbrellas mounted to the boot interior lid, a shade band to the windscreen, polished exterior mirror caps and Rolls-Royce emblems stitched into each headrest. This example comes complete with a very attractive leather bound Rolls-Royce presentation book, photographically documenting the cars creation at every stage at the factory in Crewe, from a bare shell to the finished article. It comes complete with all of its original equipment, books, and tools and is in excellent condition in every respect. This three owner car has covered just 30,000 miles from new. It comes with Rolls-Royce main agent service history and has been maintained in our workshops over the past two years. The Series V Corniche is truly a magnificent motor car, embodying all that a Rolls-Royce should be; luxury, style and a fantastic driving experience. This particular example must be one of the very best available anywhere today. Condition : Excellent condition.
