| Year : 2003 Make : Rolls-Royce Model : Phantom Body Type : Limousine (Left Hand Drive) Colour : Black Trim : Mocassin Leather History : The all new Rolls-Royce Phantom was unveiled in 2003 following several years of research and investment by the new owners of the company. Under BMW’s stewardship production of the new Phantom began at a location in West Sussex very close to the historic Goodwood racing circuit. The final assembly of each car was carried out at the new facility almost entirely by hand in true Rolls-Royce fashion to each customer’s specification, with a wide range of special features available upon request. Although the new body style was a world away from famous Rolls-Royces from the past that bore the same name, the quality of the finish was reassuringly familiar. The thought and attention to detail that had clearly gone into the design process was highlighted by a number of special features. The rear “suicide” doors are hydraulically operated and also house umbrellas which are accessed by push button release. The Spirit of Ecstasy has an automatic retraction mechanism and is activated either by push button control in the glove box or automatically when tampered with. This particular car was completed in December 2003, supplied by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars of Beverley Hills in California. Its options included picnic tables, auto dimming exterior mirrors, coach door closing assistance, umbrellas, blue chrome option, charging socket, walnut burr and parking assist. The car was purchased in America in recent years and has lived in Spain until very recently, maintained by the Rolls-Royce main agent. It has covered 41,000 kilometres from new and is in very good condition in every respect. Condition : Excellent condition throughout. Technical Data : Six speed automatic gearbox, power steering, 12 cylinder V-configuration engine, 6.75 litres displacement, 6749cc capacity. Ventilated disc brakes.
