A superb Testarossa with a particularly interesting history.
Ordered by and originally supplied to a Formula One and Ferrari race team owner via Nigel Mansell’s Ferrari dealership, Emblem Sports Cars in April 1986, this is amongst the first RHD cars to be delivered in the UK.
Very sparingly driven by him in 80’s, it was then stored as part of his private collection in a humidity controlled environment only to return to the road in 2005 when it underwent an extensive £16,000 recommission. Now showing a meagre 8223 miles, the current owner has just treated chassis # 63685 to a full service including cam-belts and a new clutch, making her once again completely road ready.
One of the first to be fitted with Rudge centre locking wheels, twin high fixing mirrors and Goodyear Eagle tyre, a rarity on these early models, there is a thick correspondence file with dealer & factory telexes and a letter of provenance from the first owner.
Sounding quite fabulous courtesy of her sports exhaust, this iconic Ferrari is in presented in exceptional and original condition.
