This is the most beautiful E-type in the most perfect condition. An early Series 1 Coupé is the purest of all versions of this iconic sixties sportscar, and certainly in this colour combination an absolute beauty.
This matching nrs. E-type is completely nut-and-bolt restored over a period of two years. Every part of the car, large or small, is redone. Maintaining the originality of the car was a top priority, although there are a few small enhancements to make the car more user friendly (e.g. electronic ignition system, larger cooling radiator). The 3.8 Litre engine is completely overhauled, and so is the Moss gearbox and independent rear suspension. The car sits on Dayton 6x15 chromed wire wheels with very period looking Pirelli P4000 tyres in 205 size. The interior is completely redone in black leather, exactly as original. Both exterior and interior colours are the same as how this E-type left the factory in 1962, and it looks stunning.
Of course, this restoration process is detailed with hundreds of photographs and a big file with invoices. Just when the restoration was finished, this stunning E-type won already the prestigious Antwerp Concours d'Elegance.
It is now properly ran in with 1500 km on the odometer since the restoration, and ready for a new proud owner.
A rare opportunity to own a completely new Jaguar E-Type, in better then new condition and in a most desirable colour combination. Although not cheap still a car with great potential !
