| One of only 379 "TB"s made prior to the outrbreak of the Second World War, this lovely example was manufactured in 1939 and comes with a heritage certificate. It has been the subject of considerable restoration work to the coachwork and chrome and has new wire wheels. The car is fitted with a correct XPAW engine (to replace the factory XPAG engine which was frost damaged beyond repair some years ago), the only difference in the W (for Wolseley) engine being the attachments for a heater. There is consequently a heater installed dicreetly below the dashboard. The other mechanical change worthy of mention is that an all-synchro 5 speed gearbox has been fitted which makes for crunch-free gearchanges and comfortable cruising at 70 mph. This car is in tip-top condition and needs little preparation before the season. It comes with a very large inventory of weather equipment and accessories and the history file includes the heritage certificate, receipts and correspondence.
