This example features the rare 6 speed manual transmission that really does transform the Aston into a proper sports car. Having driven an automatic version recently I could not believe the difference in character between the two cars.
Ordered new by Stratstones of Mayfair as a demonstration vehicle, the car has a great specification. It is finished in a lovely colour combination of Cumberland Grey with Wimbledon Green full leather interior with black secondary colourway carpets and black Alcantara roof lining. In addition there is navigation, park sensors, electric heated orthopaedic seats, wheel upgrade, bi xenon headlights, sports exhaust and Linn 230W hifi system with CD stack.
The car was purchased by the last owner from Stratstones, when it was only a few months old with about 1,000 miles recorded. Since then the car has been part of a collection and hence total mileage has risen to only 10,000 miles. It has always been carefully maintained and stored as it is in unmarked and completely original order throughout. Servicing has been entrusted to Aston Dealer HWM in Surrey, a complete service was carried out by Aston Dealer Broughtons of Cheltenham in June 2011. Broughtons said it was one of the nicest unmolested DB9's they had seen.
A lovely low mileage DB9 with a great specification including that rare manual gearbox that looks and drives like new.
