| The GT represented the ultimate iteration of the DB7 Vantage.
The Cosworth-developed 6-litre V12 was uprated with tuned induction and exhaust manifolds to produce 435bhp with 410lb/ft torque, and the suspension and brakes uprated to a similar specification to the Vanquish.
The final drive ratio in the six-speed gearbox was lowered to 4.09, improving acceleration and reducing the 0-60mph time to under 5 seconds. This was coupled to a racing twin-plate clutch and a short-throw shift.
Undertray and wheelarch modifications, and an enhanced rear spoiler and front splitter helped reduce aerodynamic lift by 50%. Road-holding was fine-tuned by John Miles.
A total of 190 GT’s were produced, of which 84 were right hand drive.
This fine example is finished in Chiltern Green with Charcoal leather interior and Alcantara inserts. It has the model-specific Dark Oak veneer and the normal GT equipment such as Vanquish-style sports seats, climate control, Becker 6xCD-changer, and electric folding wing mirrors.
It has been maintained regardless of cost and has a full Aston Martin service history.
