Pebble Beach is only 10 days or so away now, so we are delighted to look ahead to yet another week of worship at that holiest of locations, the Monterey Peninsula.
While your trunks and valises might yet to be packed, do have a look at our preview, which also lists all the auctions that — during yet another tumultuous time on the international financial markets — promise to break all records.
A glance at the BMW adorning the masthead of this week's newsletter will reveal a classy coupé that's not in–your–face 'green' or 'eco' and yet has, so the great Bavarian company promises, a capability of 104mpg and 0–62mph in just 4.6 seconds.
Pretty neat, eh? And something we'd all be happy to drive around in. With a Cal Spider safely tucked away in the garage, of course.
