EDITORIAL
We've an action-packed, all–singing and dancing ClassicInside for you this week. The flag has dropped on the three–month festival of top–level European classic car action that begins with Villa d'Este and the Tour Auto and finishes in late July.
In between, there will be events as varied as the Mille Miglia retrospective, the Maranello and Monaco auctions and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Today's ClassicInside includes two of the 'classics': the Tour Auto and Ville d'Este.
For the Italian event we've the benefit of Simon Kidston's knowledgeable commentary in a short video presentation, too.
And, talking of experts, Tony Dron has been driving the V10–engined Audi R8, and has some important information for owners of eight–cylinder cars: should they upgrade or not? It's all revealed below...
Next week we'll have all the news from Bonhams' Newport Pagnell Works Service Sale and we will be packing our bags not only for Maranello, but also for an exciting new Aston Martin launch to be held the following day.
