EDITORIAL
I think all those who attended last week's Techno Classica at Essen would agree that the event is, indeed, one of the world's premier exhibitions of classic cars. As usual, the indigenous manufacturers were out in force and you can see the results of their efforts in this week's ClassicInside.
This weekend, the 2008 events season starts with a flourish in Tuscany, where Ferrari will host the Mugello Historic Festival. Joining the fun will be 20 or so 365 GTB/4 'Daytonas', celebrating the model's 40th birthday with a road rally on Saturday that follows the old route of the Circuito delle Tre Provincie.
The cars will then tour the modern circuit on Sunday in a cavalcade to celebrate the company's last front-engined V12, before the mid-engined revolution that was the Berlinetta Boxer.
It should be a wonderful sight, and we expect to have all the news of it next Friday.
