This masterfully restored classic Mercedes Benz 190SL is 47 years old and looks better than the day that it was manufactured. This is currently our oldest restored Mercedes Benz our collection, however, the restoration quality is such that it can "cruise" daily past the cafés and ports in Marbella.

It comes with a red hardtop roof for winter days. The soft-top is neatly concealed behind the seats in the event of a rare Andalusian rainy day. Superlative European Restoration intended for collectors. Elite Classics is a European restoration company based out of Switzerland and Spain. This beautiful 47 year old motor vehicle was brought over from the United States and fully restored in our European restoration workshop by our skilled master craftsmen.

The car has been stripped, sand blasted, sanded, painted with over 20kg of paint, re-chromed, re-carpeted, leather upholstery renewed, new tires installed, nut & bolt restoration of the engine, new electrics, etc.

This car has been renewed to the highest quality (2600 man hours)and likely to a level better then when it rolled off the factory lines in 1959.

This DB3, Serial # DB3/6, Engine # DP/101/22 is one of only ten DB3s produced, logically numbered DB3/1 through DB3/10. These were the first true 'Space-Frame' Sports-Racers from the company that was now under David Brown's sole ownership.

Aston Martin Racing Green with Brown leather race bucket seats, approximately 10,000 miles since complete and thorough restoration.

It has since been fully serviced and prepped for both show and vintage rallying-touring. It won 1st in class at the 2006 Amelia Island Concour prior to going to Italy for the Mille Miglia Retrospective

Once returned from the Mille Miglia, this DB3 was prepped thoroughly and prepared for this past years 2007 Pebble Beach Concours where it was awarded 3rd in class.

This DB3 has full FIA as well as FIVA documents, it is complete with two extremely comprehensive 3-inch ring binders full of original period photos, records, correspondences and articles specific to and relating to this car. This DB3 is eligible of every vintage event imaginable, it is in superb, well-serviced condition throughout and ready for immediate use.
