Editorial

Outside the direct world of motoring there are several iconic items of style that appeal to car enthusiasts the world over. Amongst these one must include Riva's beautiful wooden power boats, Rolex watches and - dare I say it - the very 1930s-look streamlined American caravans known as 'Airstreams'. Ralph Lauren (not unknown to the world of the highest level of car collecting, with his penchant for classic Ferraris) has 'made-over' four 'vans and is selling them with the proceeds going to charity. We've full details below.

We also have details on Ferrari's very latest model, the Superamerica. Resurrecting a famous name from the past, the company has produced a more usable, more powerful, 'Barchetta' on the 575M Maranello chassis and body. Don't be fooled by the name, I understand although a limited edition it will be on worldwide sale - unlike Aston Martin's DB AR1 that was very much geared for the US market.
