Espresso Veloce V12: Small cup, big machine

That heady black brew served up in dainty cups is as much a part of Italy as the red speed demons from Ferrari. Keeping this firmly in mind, the founders of the aptly named Espresso Veloce created the perfect union of car and coffee. Here’s how to pimp your daily demitasse.

The shape and components used are very much inspired by V10 and V12 racing engines. The intricately designed, handcrafted coffee-racing machine is built from materials used widely in motorsport, such as aluminium, magnesium and titanium. Meanwhile, a special filter bears more than a passing resemblance to an oil filter, and helps to ensure that perfect espresso corretto flavour. Only 500 Veloce machines for each engine type will be made.
