Tanner Krolle Bespoke Watch Box

The latest example of luxury luggage-maker Tanner Krolle’s craft comes in the form of this vegetable-tanned hide watch box.

As part of the historic London company’s ‘Bespoke Gifts’ range, the case you see here – in rich black hide with contrasting purple lining – is merely an example to stimulate your imagination. The exterior hide can be one of many sumptuous colours while the interior, which will hold eight watches, and ten pairs of cufflinks in its ‘men's tidy’, can be supplied in Alcantara or goatskin, again in a selection of hues.

The 13.5 x 32 x 23cm box is made to order and priced from £2995.00.

The company was founded in 1856 by Frederick Krolle, near London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral. From its earliest days, Tanner Krolle has supplied intrepid travellers; first, those serving in the furthest corners of the Empire, then throughout the early decades of pioneering motoring and aviation, and now the 21st Century businessman or woman who will require a deluxe attaché case complete with pockets for BlackBerry and lightweight laptop.

Visitors to London should call in to the new Tanner Krolle store at 11 Shepherd Market, Mayfair, London W1J 7PG, where the ground and lower floor is devoted to a wide range of handcrafted gifts, handbags and travel and business pieces.

The first floor Private Service Suite (by appointment only) allows customers to create bespoke orders, finding inspiration from the extensive Tanner Krolle archive.
