Riva owners experienced three thrilling days based at the Sardinian harbour of Porto Cervo, home to the 5th annual Riva Trophy. A surprise amongst the current production boats was the the brand new 63’ Vertigo, the ultimate top luxury open produced by Riva. The new boat was debuted at the meeting's opening night, at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda

The event was staged from 8 - 10 August in and around Porto Cervo. 20 boats took part, from Aquarama to Corsaro, from Tropicana to Mercurius and the current production like Aquariva, Rivarama and Rivale.



The day after the garnd opening evening, participants joined in a navigation skills competition charting a course from the Pevero Gulf to Olbia Boat Service, Sardinian headquarters of Nautica Casarola, a traditional Riva dealer.



Later on, the owners tested their artistic skills and aroused the curiosity of the other boats moored in the Cala di Volpe while fitting out their motor yachts in “Red & Silver” colours of Audi, Riva's partner regualar partner on these occasions. The event ended with a gala dinner at the Starwood Hotel & Resort Cala di Volpe, during which the winners' prizes were awarded.
