A video has appeared on YouTube which shows (eventually) the Aston Martin Cygnet – the little car’s first time on moving film; though the car itself remains static. The marketing suggests it’s targeting a much younger buyer than the Aston Martin owner who needs a city car for short trips.

Almost the entire video is taken up by footage of parkour (or free running), with the Cygnet making only a brief appearance at the end. You can’t help feeling this will have little appeal to anyone who’s thinking of buying the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet as a stablemate to their Aston Martin – a ‘tender to a yacht’, as it was initially described.
Still, if you freeze the video and inspect the car, it’s every bit as desirable as when the first pictures were released.
