Aston Martin Rapide: Pricing Revealed

The new four-door Aston Martin, the Rapide, will be priced ‘from £139,950 in the UK’ when it goes on sale next year.

The standard specification will be to a high level and includes a Bang & Olufsen Beosound audio system (tailored specifically for the Rapide), heated memory seats, dual cast brakes and an Adaptive Damping System. Cars will be hand-built at the Aston Martin Rapide Plant in Graz, Austria, with customer deliveries starting in March.

The company anticipates that customer demand will initially be around 2000 cars per year. It is billed as a genuine four-seater with generous luggage space (317 litres with seats up, and 886 litres with seats down), and will obviously be up against the Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte.

The press launch is scheduled for early February.
