Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M – Tuned by Novitec Rosso
Only 499 examples of the Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M will be built but, for some, this isn’t exclusive enough. For those ultra-discerning customers, respected Ferrari-tuner Novitec Rosso has the answer...
First, Novitec Rosso fits the lightweight, open-topped 16M with its own ‘Bi-Compressor’ engine, promising 696HP and a new top speed of more than 205mph. Torque is increased from 470Nm to 682Nm at 6300rpm and we’re told that the tuned 16M will sprint from 0-62mph in a mere 3.5 seconds. The Novitec Rosso 4.3-litre V8 is supercharged by two cogged-belt-driven high-performance compressors with a maximum boost pressure of 0.48 bar, while each cylinder bank is fitted with a generously dimensioned water-to-air intercooler.

Other sporty options include 20-inch wheels, sport springs and a lift system for the front axle. For an even more striking appearance, Novitec Rosso offers black tail-lights, side markers and reflectors while, inside the car, exclusive touches include an ergonomically shaped leather/carbonfibre sport steering wheel with a flattened lower rim, and Novitec Rosso carbonfibre shift paddles. Longer than their production counterparts, these shift paddles make gearchanges even easier.
