Sabelt for Aston Martin Racing...plus a pair to give away
Advertisement feature

If it’s true that you can tell a gentleman by his footwear, then what do these Sabelt for Aston Martin Racing shoes say about the wearer? That he’s sophisticated and versatile, perhaps, with a casual informality and a love of motorsport? Or maybe he simply wants a pair of luxurious shoes that are, above all, supremely comfortable.

These are not FIA-approved racing boots but casual shoes ideal for driving. Sabelt has combined ultra-soft white calfskin and suede, in a curved decoration reminiscent of Aston Martin Racing styling cues, with inserts of silver lamé technical fabrics – an elegant, contemporary contrast of natural and man-made materials.

The Sabelt – Aston Martin connection is stronger than you might have realised, since the Italian company has been working for the AMR squad for almost three years, and much of the detailing reflects this relationship. There is the patent leather piping, for example, and the carbon inserts: a strong reminder of lightweight racing cars.

The shoes come in a wide range of colour combinations, from bright shades – orange, blue, green, yellow – on a white background, to blends of more subtle colours. We have selected a pair of black-on-black shoes (European size 44) to give away to a Classic Driver reader. For a chance to win, email sw@classicdriver.com, with the subject line ‘Sabelt for Aston Martin Racing’, giving your address and a daytime telephone number. The first response ‘out of the hat’ will win.
