| Worldwide appeal for classic Ferrari’s carries on unabated and regardless of the commercial climate with certainly the iconic Daytona continuing to be one of the most sought after models. The order for this Ferrari was placed by John Coombs the famous racer and Surrey Jaguar dealer on behalf of one his long-time customer’s with Maranello Concessionaires and delivered during November 1971. Our 365/4 GTB represents a completely unmolested example carrying as it does mostly original Chiaro Rosso (20.R.190) paintwork and wonderfully patented Nero upholstery (VM8500) together with grey carpet and air-conditioning. Interestingly a factory collected was opted for, giving the new owner a chance to extend the legs of his new ‘prancing horse’…..must have been a terrific drive home on 70’s uncongested roads! Complete with original tool roll, warranty card and copies of factory order, this lovely Ferrari has been driven and enjoyed and is the better for it…..mechanically on the button and with a comprehensive and known history. With soaring prices over the last decade, this “Daytona” represent a very serious investment, as well as a superb collectable car to grace a collection of an enthusiast.
