|The GTS version of the 246 Dino arrived at the Geneva Salon in March 1972. It featured a removable targa roof panel that could be stowed behind the seats, the chassis being reinforced with extra bracing along the sides and front of the engine frame. Visibly the GTS had no rear three-quarter windows, these being replaced by a bank of three vents carved out from each sail panel. GTS's were all built on the series III (or "M") platform. Production of both the GT and GTS came to an end in 1974. 1274 GTS's were built in just over two years, 235 of which were in right-hand drive.|
This exceptional 1973 GTS is presented in as restored condition. The car's full restoration was carried out by renowned model specialist Nick Cartwright. Since the restoration the car has covered a minimal mileage and as result the car looks and drives just as well as it did immediately after the full restoration. Presented in Rosso with Black "Daytona" style leather seats the car is also equipped with Campagnola option sandcast wide wheels and headlight covers (which were an option on Dinos delivered to the U.K). The total mileage of the car stands at 32,000. In total the car has had six owners, and the current owner has used the car only very occasionally on high days and holidays. The comprehensive history file that accompanies the car demonstrates a history of good maintenance and excellent servicing. Today the car represents undoubtedly one of the finest dinos available, the car is in our showrooms just outside London and is ready to view immediatley.
