Originally owned by Paul Rogers who found fame with the rock bands Free and Bad Company, this outstanding car has a comprehensive history that stretches back to his ownership of the car.
From its rock and roll beginnings, the car passed to a Mr Hibbert of Hertfordshire who continued the maintenance of the car, which included an early visit to PAS of Olney for a respray. Mr Hibbert had acquired the car in 1980 and by the end of 1985, it had moved to Hemel Hempstead in the stewardship of a Mr Warwick. He kept the car for three years and in 1988 it was sold to a Peter Pringle of Reigate in Surrey.
He kept the car until 1997 when it was brokered by Byron International to the current owner. Whether you look at the attention to the cosmetic issues like chromework, critical maintenance of the underbody, paint finish and service maintenance, the current owner has attended to every area of the car meaning the car is presented in the best of order.
Aston Martin V8’s continue to excite enthusiasts and investors alike.
With its rarity as a car with manual transmission combined with its outstanding condition, V8/11138 will create a substantial stir in the market. All internal surfaces apart from the headlining have been lined with an extra layer of sound deadening felt and the carpets re-lined with Black Wilton. Positively one of the best V8’s on the market it comes highly recommended.
